HSBC named “Malaysia’s Best International Bank” in 2026 for third consecutive year by Euromoney

HSBC has been named “Best International Bank in Malaysia” at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, marking the third consecutive year the Bank has received this recognition. HSBC also won “Malaysia’s Best Bank for Customer Experience”.

These accolades underscore HSBC’s strong market position as the international banking partner of choice in Malaysia, reflecting the Bank’s ongoing focus on customer-centricity, technology-led innovation, and operational excellence.

Dato’ Omar Siddiq, CEO, HSBC Bank Malaysia said, “Three years of Euromoney recognition is a powerful testament to the trust our customers place in HSBC to connect them to global opportunities. By bringing together our international network and local expertise, we are staying closer than ever to our corporate and wealth clients and delivering at pace. Keeping things simple has been our catalyst for strong outcomes, and we are proud to see that dedication recognised on a global stage.”

The Euromoney Awards for Excellence recognised HSBC with 59 awards across its global network in 2026. Widely regarded as an industry benchmark, the awards celebrate institutions that demonstrate leadership and deliver high-quality, end-to-end banking services to clients.

Earlier this year, Euromoney also recognised HSBC Amanah Malaysia at the Euromoney Islamic Finance Awards 2026, naming it World’s Best Islamic Structured Finance House, Asia-Pacific’s Best Islamic Structured Finance House, Malaysia’s Best Islamic Structured Finance House, and Malaysia’s Best Islamic Bank for ESG, alongside multiple deal award categories.
